Functional circuit training is a highly effective form of conditioning. These four natural movements are: (1) locomotion, (2) level changes, (3) pushing and pulling and (4) rotation. All of these four categories should be represented in the circuits via exercises that effectively enhance them.

The use of various pieces of equipment (medicine balls, stability balls, dumbbells, sand bags, rubber tubing, balance equipment, etc.) and training methodologies allow unparalleled application and diversity. This diverse application allows the participant to enhance motor skills, cardiovascular parameters, build muscles and bones, improve flexibility, body awareness, balance and stability, enhance postural awareness and body alignment.
