KNOWING HOW TO
BUILD MUSCLES
THE FUNCTIONAL WAY

REQUIRES
THE BEST TRAINING
EQUPMENT

The keys for knowing how to build muscles lay in choosing functional fitness training equipment and using it properly. Shopping for the best exercise equipment can be daunting as it is usually the least understood portion of exercise. Using functional training in your strength training endeavors along with functional fitness training equipment will improve your movement capabilities and will give you strength that you can use!

"THE HUMAN BODY IS DESIGNED FOR MOVEMENT!"

The construction of the human body reveals a master design. It is a work in progress and it is highly adaptable to a variety of conditions and stresses! A simplified look at the human body would serve as a great starting point to better understand the efficiency of functional training exercises and how they can effectively be applied.

The human body is a unit, a kinetic chain, where movement is more than just individual muscles contracting and relaxing. Each link in the kinetic chain has a specific role to play and each link is part of an integrated whole resulting in efficient flowing movement!

Taking a strength development from a movement and skill perspective rather than the perspective of isolated muscle training, develops neuromuscular efficiency (the body's ability to move efficiently as an integrated unit). I believe the body must be trained to work as one efficient unit. This optimal functioning reduces injuries and improves performance for that is essentially why functional training is needed (optimally improving the body's movement capabilities without incurring injury). Functional training will create better performance in any sport or rehabilitation situation. After all, what is the point of having all the strength and flexibility in the world if you can't use it! This training methodology should be used for all populations, regardless of performance needs.
